Skip to Content. Call of Duty Modern Warfare's Open Beta took place last weekend, and there was one issue at its heart — camping. Here's why removing Killstreaks would fix that problem pretty much instantly. The killstreak, more than almost anything else, is what has defined Call of Duty as a series.

Call of Duty Domination Tips and Tricks

Call of Duty Modern Warfare: 10 Essential Multiplayer Tips | Tom's Guide

The objective of Domination is to own all of the control points on the map. There are usually at least three of these control points scattered around the map, and are usually found in key strategic locations. To capture a control point, a player must stand near it for 10 seconds with no enemies nearby to capture it for the player's team. Kills and assists are nothing special. Kill an enemy and receive 5 points. Shoot a player that a teammate kills and get awarded 1 point. The capturing of a flag is rather simple as well, but can be difficult if both teams are fighting for the same flag.

Why Call of Duty Modern Warfare's Killstreaks encourage camping

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare brings back some of the series' most classic modes as well as a handful of brand new modes. There are the staples like Team Deathmatch and Domination, but newcomers like Cyber Attack and Gunfight will be fighting for your time. We've broken down everything you need to know about each of the new modes as well as the classic ones too. Of all the modes in Modern Warfare, Team Deathmatch is the most simple to play.
There has been a lot of content for players to go through since release. One section is really the main event though. Missions and challenges to get skins are fine, but most players are in it for the multiplayer. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has a massive amount of online modes, these range from simple Deathmatches to more complicated objective games.
